This year, we had another outstanding set of GCSE results.  As grades have fallen nationally, our students have continued to excel.  Compared to the national pass rate (grades A*-C/levels 4-9) of around 66%, Swansea Campus achieved a fantastic pass rate of 80%.  In addition, 30% of our students’ grades were A*/A (levels 7-9), much higher than the national average of around 21%.  Congratulations Year 11 for all your hard work and determination!

Our Year 11s have seen the beginning of the new-style GCSEs this year, with the levels 1-9 in English and Maths instead of grades A*-U.  As of next  year, all GCSEs will be graded using levels 1-9; click on the link below to learn more about how the new levels compare to the old-style grades.

Harriet Abernethie deserves a special mention for achieving a level 9 in English Language!  This is equivalent to a very high A* and represents exceptional achievement.
